Assistant Director of Field Education/Clinical Assistant Professor, University of Montana School of Social Work
Jen has over 20 years of experience serving the Missoula community as a social worker. Her professional background includes work with youth in foster care, individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of intimate partner violence, migrant workers, and individuals and families with refugee status.
Jen brings a broad range of social work experience to the Youth Homes Board, including direct practice, case management, nonprofit leadership, research, grant writing, and political advocacy. Her career in social work began at Youth Homes, where she worked as a Therapeutic Youth Care Worker at the Tom Roy Youth Guidance Home from 2002 to 2007 — an experience that shaped her long-standing commitment to supporting youth and families in the community.
Originally from New York State, Jen moved to Montana more than 25 years ago as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer. She values being part of the Missoula community she has long called home and, outside of work, enjoys spending time outdoors kayaking, camping, and cross-country skiing.
